We are very excited to share our newest member of #TeamDefiant, our mascot Dunk the Defiant Lion!
Over December, #TeamDefiant member Maddie (Moodledo) got to work on our mascot, making sure Dunk was ready for the new year. After putting it out to our members, and receiving lots of wonderful name suggestions, we decided to call him Dunk as it is sporty and fun, just like Defiant Sports!
A big thank you to the Sovereign Ward Councillors for supporting this project, and making our mascot dreams come true. Dunk is very excited to meet all our players, supporters and families when it is safe to do so, and is already practicing his camera poses!
