Testimonials

Here are some reviews from parents, volunteers and players at our sessions. We always welcome everyone at our sessions, no matter who you are you will have a place at Defiant Sports.

A testimony that reads "Dear Loretta, I just wanted to extend my thanks to you and the team at Defiant Sports for hosting many of our students to do their compulsory volunteering modules, as part of their degree. I know the roles you offer are of particular interest to our Physiotherapy students, and we have many that have successfully completed their hours with you. I am also grateful for occasions where you have agreed to take on extra students for our Masters in Health Promotion module and for the way in which you are accommodating to those with additional needs, so they are fully supported during their placement. We could not deliver our compulsory community engagement modules without organisations like Defiant Sports. The opportunity to engage closely with vulnerable service users is so valuable in giving the students experience that will support them in their future careers. The work of which you are doing also demonstrates to these students how things operate in the third sector, and opens their minds to other things taking place in the local community, and gives ideas for them to explore regarding their employability in the future. I look forward to continuing our working relationship. Warm wishes, Nadia. A testimonial saying "I just wanted to say thank you and your team for the August 6th reservation for my friends and I. We are parents of the reception year group starting Summerdown school this September. We look forward to that play day. I gave positive review to the group members of how inclusive the hub is. Their expectations are high and confident that all of our kids will have a great time while we catch up.

Layered on top of the image is the following text "Thank you so very much for your initiatives and dedication. As usual, it brings great joy of living and sense of belonging to my child and I. - Sílvia, Parent of Service User"
A testimony reading "Good afternoon, I just wanted to pass over some feedback young people gave from Mondays HAF at Heathfield Youth Hub. The group shared all positive things, many were very puffed out (which was a good thing) and said it really wore them out and was very fun. The girls appear to have a new love for netball and all were excited to have had the chance to do it and hopefully will again. A few in the group were new to each other and their relationships were formed well following the sports and activities you completed with them. Thank you again for coming over and supporting our session, Have a wonderful new Christmas and new year. And I look forward to working with you again in 2024."
