Grow Eastbourne – Gardening for Good

Grow Eastbourne is a project run by Volunteers Network CIC based in Eastbourne featuring two growing sites – A community garden in Langney Village and an allotment in Gorringe Road.

Volunteers Network CIC is a group who aims to connect local authorities, statutory services, and voluntary services with residents in Eastbourne and locations nearby. They also work on addressing disadvantage and improving the lives of the most vulnerable in the community.

The community garden is being planned to develop into a community kitchen garden, growing fruit and nut trees, perennial vegetables, herbs, etc, that the residents can enjoy year-round. The garden is located close to the Langney Community Centre so a lot of community-based activities can be tied in with the garden.
