With the warm weather returning, it’s time for some inclusive, sporting fun. You know what that means. The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport is back and better than ever!
Here’s the plan so far. We’ll be setting up camp at the old Fort Fun site where we’ll host stallholders, food vendors and a small arena for general sport and performances. On the beach adjacent to Fort Fun, we’ll have the Eastbourne Accessible Beach open with various inclusive beach sports set up and ready to engage with as well as a spot in one of the beach’s corners where Wheels for All (check them out here) will be based – they’ll be letting people try out their adapted bikes along the promenade. Lastly, we’ll be using the Fishermans Green Tennis Courts for – would you believe it? – tennis. We’ll also be celebrating the tennis courts 100 year anniversary – how amazing!
