Outdoor sports are back! We started our outdoor lessons beginning on 29th March, and we will be providing our full schedule of previous sessions again. Right now, the sessions that are available to sign up for are LD Tennis at the Hampden Park Tennis Courts and Football for Adults with Disabilities at Seaside Rec. Both of these sessions are for adults with learning disabilities, autism or other disabilities, inclusive to all! The cost for these sessions is £3 per person and they are 1hr long. We are also offering Football for SEND Children and Siblings and Friends at Archery Red. We also have our Football for SEND Children, Siblinga and Friends sessions up and running again at Archery Rec. These sessions are also £3 per person for kids with SEND and their friends. Bring a buddy and enjoy practicing sports with other people again!
We cannot express how happy we are to have warm weather again. With the odd rainy day still, we are excited to say goodbye to the rain and hello to the sunshine! We are hoping the weather is nice for our week of return and all of #TeamDefiant is super excited to be back with our players again! Finally, no more zoom practices and YouTube videos. We can see all of your faces in person again!
We also would like to extend the warmest thank you to Devonshire West for funding adult football, thank you to Hampden Park Area Panel for funding tennis, and finally thank you to St. Anthony’s Councillors and their devolved budget for funding kids SEND football. Without these organisations helping us, what we do would not be possible. All of the support is greatly appreciated!
