Spring is upon us, and the sun and warm weather means we want to spend as much time as we can outside! This mixed with the disappearing COVID pandemic (hopefully) means we are super happy to announce that the Eastbourne Feastival will be going ahead this summer in Hampden Park. For 3 fun filled days come join us to eat some good food and listen to even better music! Taking place on the 25/26/27 of June, you better buy your tickets soon before they all sell out. With live music and varied food vendors, this is a great experience for the whole family!
This event is locally run and supports our amazing community of Eastbourne. Wonderful events such as this are integral for gathering communities and also supporting local organisations. Spend a couple days out in the sun, enjoy the weather and maybe even try a new dish of food while you are there! Feastival Events generously raised money for us with their Santa Grotto Experience hosted in the Inclusion Hub last Christmas, and it would be wonderful if we could show them how appreciative we are by attending their events in return.
Defiant Sports has been lucky enough to have been chosen as their charitable cause for the Eastbourne Feastival. We will be there with Dunk the Defiant Lion Mascot, and we will be raising awareness for defiant sports and inclusive sport, but also trying our best to enjoy the celebration. Don’t be a stranger and come say hi and chat with us! We are always happy to answer questions and get to know new people. While you’re at it, you can even take a selfie with Dunk!
