On Saturday 26th September, 10am-4pm (finish time dependent on number of entries), Defiant Sports will be hosting a tennis tournament for adults and children with learning disabilities. This event is funded by LTA (Lawn Tennis Association), and will be a one day tournament for those who are often left out of competitive sport.
Cost is £3 per person to enter, with each player receiving a participation medal and the winners receiving a trophy. All ages are welcome, with the matches being split into adults and children tournaments to allow everyone to compete.
The tournament will be taking place at the Inclusion Hub, Sovereign Harbour Retail Park, BN23 6JH. Here we have one court where matches will take place, and plenty of fun activities to do whilst you are waiting to play, such as table tennis and table football. Tea, coffee and water/squash will be provided to players and their parents/carers throughout the day.
