Location: Defiant Sports Inclusion Hub, BN22 8RA.

Description: Learning how to operate our gym equipment and helping to show others how to do so.

Day: Felxible to your needs.

Time: Flexible within our opening hours.

Location: Defiant Sports Inclusion Hub, BN22 8RA.

Description: Help with basic bits and bobs as well as maintenance and DIY around our hub.

Day: Felxible to your needs.

Time: Flexible within our opening hours.

Location: Defiant Sports Inclusion Hub, BN22 8RA.

Description: Assisting with multiple tasks around the hub. This ranges from printing and folding leaflets, welcoming people and giving out information, counting out coins from collection tins and helping out with our community fridge’s paper work.

Description: You’ll be added to a WhatsApp group chat with other volunteers where we’ll occasionally ask for help at events. You don’t need to commit to anything with this position, you’ll be able to help when it suits you.

Day: Wednesdays

Time: 3:00PM – 4:00PM 

Location: Defiant Sport Inclusion Hub

Description: You’ll be assisting our coaching team to run our weekly Basketball session. You can expect to welcome people into the Hub, assist in the running of the session, make teas and coffees, get equipment out for session, share information about our services and interact with attendees.

Day: Thursdays

Time: 11:00AM – 12:00PM

Location: Typically 4 Seasons Brasserie, but dependant on route

Description:

You’ll be assisting our coaching team to run our weekly Wellbeing Wheel & Walk session. You can expect to welcome attendees, help ensure attendees feel included and can navigate the route, chat with attendees, share information about our services and if need be, lead the session.

Day: Fridays

Time: 10:30AM – 12:00PM

Location: Eastbourne Sports Park, Indoor Tennis Courts

Description: You’ll be assisting our coaching team to run a tennis session for people with visual impairments and those who are blind. You can expect to throw balls for players to hit, participate yourself and assist with skills coaching led by the lead coach.

Day: Wednesdays and/or Saturdays

Time: 10:00AM – 11:00AM

Location: Fishermans Green Tennis Courts

Description: You’ll be responsible for opening courts, welcoming players, running games and exercises and taking a register of attendees. This role requires you to undertake free online LTA training and have a few sessions supervised before running them yourself.

Day: Wednesdays and/or Saturdays

Time: 10:00AM – 11:00AM

Location: Fishermans Green Tennis Courts

Description: You’ll be assisting our coaching team to run our weekly Wednesday and/or Saturday Open Court Tennis sessions. You can expect to welcome people onto the court, assist in the running of the session, set equipment up for session, share information about our services and interact with attendees.

Day: Mondays

Time: 3:15PM – 4:15PM

Location: Defiant Sport Inclusion Hub

Description: You’ll be assisting our coaching team to run our weekly Boccia session. You can expect to welcome people into the Hub, assist in the running of the session, make teas and coffees, get equipment out for session, share information about our services and interact with attendees.
