Wyntercon is coming back to Eastbourne for its 8th edition, and Defiant Sports is in attendance! The annual event popular for its comic-con style is returning to our city, ready to entertain the whole family. Whether you’re a fan of Star Wars, anime, or Harry Potter, you’re welcomed to join the Cosplay Competition. Or if you prefer, participate in the dozens of creative and educational workshops – take your pick between mobile making, mural painting, or join us to practice accessible sports and take selfies with our mascot, Dunk the Defiant Lion!

This is Wyntercon’s motto. As a charity, they are passionate about bringing social and interactive events to a wider audience to putting an end to discrimination. Through the interaction of local communities, they are hoping to bring people together in a family-friendly and inclusive environment. The aim of this large scale event is to raise funds of Wyntercon’s project all throughout the year.
